全文朗读 课文讲解 Rounding out Disney’s on-screen world were characters who each stood for a human personality type. The steam that comes out of Donald Duck’s ears when he’s angry tells us he is bad-tempered. Daisy Duck’s sweet nature is obvious from her patience with Donald, and Goofy, who has trouble coordinating his long arms and legs, is slow and clumsy. Disney’s characters soon became a troupe of actors which could be adapted to well-known fairy tales and new stories like Fantasia. The happy world of these cartoons appealed to children-and to parents who willingly paid to entertain their families with such amusements. The widespread acceptance of Disney’s fantasy world into the hearts of families across the world inspired his greatest project: the creation of Disneyland. It took over fifteen years of planning and construction, but the perfect world of Disney’s cartoons eventually became reality. When Disneyland opened its doors in 1955, Walt Disney was overheard remarking with amazement that 　“It all started with a mouse.”
